Happy New Year!!!!
Happy New Year. We had a great 2008, thanks to all my wonderful customers both new and regular, I can't express my thanks deeply enough. We plan on working hard again in 2009, keep things fresh, fun and interesting and of course, delicious. Hope to see you all in the New Year!!
In the above picture, please observe the Orkin families sechi ryouri. We bought our first urushi box for the food, observing the three tiered order of food stuffs, and then worked all day cooking while drinking copious amounts of shochu. We have now eaten all that was in the boxes and are still drinking copious amounts of shochu. Isn't Japan just the best!!! Here's to a great new year!

It's another national holiday on Monday so we'll be open for lunch from 11:30 to 5:30. Hope to see you for lunch!
It's Thanksgiving time for all of us Americans so we'll be closed Wednesday and Thursday (November 26th and 27th) I've got myself a 20 pound turkey, fresh cranberries and a plan! So have a great Thanksgiving for those of you celebrating (it's my favorite holiday!) Cheers!
